We’re so glad you’re here!

As Teresian Sisters, we are passionate about making Jesus known and loved in our world. The Society of Saint Teresa of Jesus was founded to promote the interests of Jesus and “restore all things in Christ through prayer, education and sacrifice.” Today we continue to respond to our founder’s invitation to go “wherever the interests of Jesus are most in danger.”

I remember Sister...

Since our founding, we have administered and taught in many schools in Louisiana, Texas and Florida. We continue to work in education today. We also serve in parishes as well as other ministries. See a list of schools, parishes and ministries below, find a Teresian Sister who you knew and share your stories. We’d love to hear your memories and how you’re doing!

Richard Dauzat writes: Did the Teresians teach at St. Lawrence in Kenner, LA? I remember Mother Isabel and Mother Angela. What happened to them?

Yes, Richard, our sisters taught there. It must have been Sr. Isabel Sanchez and Sr. Angela Rodriguez, who passed away at 105!
